The Renaissance Preparatory Academy in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks experienced, dynamic, creative, unflappable, innovative thinkers for PART-TIME Teaching positions. These individuals will join us in launching this new school.

It is designed to provide quality education to students capable of excelling in higher education.  A dynamic, diverse educational community that promotes curiosity and independence of mind, Renaissance Prep values each student’s voice, respects their family values, nurtures respectful relationships and empowers students to have a positive impact on their communities.  Job Duty Summary
The Specialty teachers will work with a multi-age class of diverse learners and will be responsible for designing and assessing all aspects of their specialty curriculum and integrating each with the faculty responsible for the foundational and theme unit classes.  As part of the elementary team, the teacher will be a part of school-wide events and activities that are central to students’ experiences and to the school’s culture, including supporting the honor codes, coordinating with rotating three year themes, integrating with research projects on common topics, other performances and presentations and other school events and activities. Specialty classes can occur at any time of the school day but once set will typically continue to occur at that time for at least one full 10 week term. Specialty faculty are encouraged to design and offer at least one 4 hour day camp (or two 4-hour day camps) for one of the 4 3-week intersession day camps which would entail a larger commitment during that week.
