Math Centers

Local Teacher's Aide: Please scroll down to find the centers for each day of the week. If you are not following the AMP schedule, then when helping your student accomplish these tasks remember to insert physical activity or free play time at least after every three centers (but it is okay to do it after each center, your call).

Monday:
Math Center 1: Math associated with circle time (time, weather measurements, shapes, math concepts, etc.)
Math Center 2: Math worksheet page(s) , math theme unit page, and/or manipulative instructions & answer sheets.
                             (one to one correspondence)

Tuesday:
Math Center 1: Math associated with circle time (time, weather measurements, shapes, math concepts, etc.)
Math Center 2: Math worksheet page(s), math theme unit page, and/or manipulative instructions & answer sheets.
Math Center 3: Teacher guided math lesson (adding 1)

Wednesday:
Math Center 1: Math associated with circle time (time, weather measurements, shapes, math concepts, etc.)
Math Center 2: Math worksheet page(s) , math theme unit page, and/or manipulative instructions & answer sheets.     
​                             (counting up to 20)

Thursday:
Math Center 1: Math associated with circle time (time, weather measurements, shapes, math concepts, etc.)
Math Center 2: Math worksheet page(s), math theme unit page, and/or manipulative instructions & answer sheets.
Math Center 3: Teacher guided math lesson (compare number between 1 and 10)

Friday:
Math Center 1: Math associated with circle time (time, weather measurements, shapes, math concepts, etc.)
Math Center 2: Math worksheet page(s) , math theme unit page, and/or manipulative instructions & answer sheets. 
                             (compare numbers 1 through 10 written as numbers)
Math Center 3: Math related to everyday life such as current events or media/technology.
