Scenarios on Impact Of Discounts on Cost of Education at
The Renaissance Preparatory Academy

We offer Discounts and Coupons and not scholarships for our students. Our discounts and coupons are distributed first come first serve and are limited in number, duration of availability, and have no value outside of their intended use as a promotional price reduction. We have begun to receive requests for calculating these discounts so that folks can see what the cost really is. We can accept the variety of credit cards that PayPal accepts or you can submit checks. Because the checks are a bit more detailed we provide descriptions of those in our scenarios.

We are happy to do a custom calculation for anyone who stops by the school facility but here are a few example scenarios based on purchasing the academic program only.

Entering Grades K, 1, 2, 0r 3

In this scenario, we assume that the family uses the 1st. Cohort Coupon, and received the Family Employer Discount, the Neighborhood Discount, and qualified for the Diversity Encouragement Discount for Gender/Girls.

THE RESULTS
Along with the base application, the 1st cohort coupon was submitted along with a check for $50 made payable to "The Social Good Fund" with "Re: The Renaissance Preparatory Academy Application Fees" in the memo line.

After any testing and the receipt of the invitation to join a specific class, the rest of the enrollment packet was completed and submitted along with a copy of  a pay stub or other employer document, and a check made out for $250 with the memo line, "Re: The Renaissance Preparatory Academy Registration Fees".

Before the first day of class, justification for any tuition discounts (a utility bill to verify address for Neighborhood outreach discount; and the indication of the gender of the student on the official school forms for the gender diversity discount), and a check made out for $840 with the memo line, "Re: Security Deposit for Name of Student in Name of class for 2017-2018."

Tuition discounts of the Neighborhood Outreach and Diversity Encouragement Discount for Gender Diversity result in an adjusted 12-month tuition cost of $658.33/month. Tuition is paid at the first of the month to hold a seat for the student whether or not they attend.
