Reading Centers

Local Teacher's Aide: Please scroll down to find the centers for each day of the week. When helping your student accomplish these tasks remember to insert physical activity or free play time at least after every three centers (but it is okay to do it after each center, your call).

Monday:
(not this week but will continue next week) Phonics, Sign Language, and Spelling  (in Centers Video)
Reading Center 1: Student shows aide the phonics/sign language handout.

Reading Center 2: Student does flash cards and worksheets on sight words.
Reading Center 3: Aide reads Theme-unit related book to student (Horse Facts). Student listens, picture and writes sentence. on 1 page in workbook (small book with barn on it).
Reading Center 4: Aide reads any book to student. Student listens, discusses book, may also draw picture and write sentence. (In Alternative to Videos 1-3 or 13-15.)

Tuesday:
Reading Center 1: Phonics, Sign Language, and Spelling  (in Centers Video)
Reading Center 2: Student does flash cards and worksheets on sight words.
Reading Center 3: Aide reads Theme-unit related book to student (Horse Facts). Student listens, picture and writes sentence. on 1 page in workbook (small book with barn on it).

Reading Center 5: Aide reads any book to student. Student listens, discusses book, may also draw picture and write sentence. (In Alternative to Videos 1-3 or 13-15.)


Wednesday:
