This school offers a multi-age (4 to 8 years) foundation program designed to help with motor skills, social skills, language and basic academics for the beginning reader.  Reading is taught using phonics. Math is taught using manipulatives and practical applications. Recess, music, singing, art, PE, and other programs often cut from many public schools are staples in our curriculum! From our Seaside mission, our goal is to help each child discover and achieve personal wonder and success in learning to do challenging things well!  Students entering this class as kindergartners leave after having completed the 1st grade. This may take up to 3 years or can be done sooner depending upon the student's mastery of 1st grade skills. This is a full day program which begins at 8 am and continues to 4 pm with several learning times, recess times, and quiet times!

A neat feature of our Seaside Academy classes is that new learners can enroll at any closest to their 4th birthday as long as they are developmentally ready.  Well, there has to be a seat available too! If you are interested in taking advantage of this type of an opportunity, you may want to put your application for that term in early and reserve a seat!
